How day2daytrips handles your booking details
Last updated: May 18, 2026
What we collect
When you start a price alert, day2daytrips collects the email address you provide and the booking details needed to monitor the hotel stay. These details may include hotel name, city, country, check-in and check-out dates, cancellation date, room count, guest count, room details, booked price, currency, source site, and source URL.
The browser extension only sends booking details after it finds a supported hotel booking page and you choose to start a price alert.
How we use the information
We use this information to monitor the booking for matching lower hotel rates, show the booking in your day2daytrips dashboard, and email you if we find a price drop or need to provide service-related updates.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your booking information for creditworthiness, lending, advertising profiles, or purposes unrelated to hotel price monitoring.
Data sharing
We may use service providers to host the product, store booking records, send email alerts, and operate the website. These providers process information only as needed to provide the day2daytrips service.
Storage and security
Booking details are stored in our application database and are associated with the email address you provide. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information we process.
Your choices
You can stop using the extension at any time by disabling or uninstalling it in Chrome. To request deletion of booking alerts or related account data, contact us from the email address used for the alert.
